Bankruptcy Attorney Profile
After graduating from U.C. Berkeley, Boalt Hall Law School, where he was Associate Editor of the Law Review, M. Nelson Enmark began his legal career representing clients in matters ranging from personal injury to divorce to criminal matters.
Settling in bankruptcy fairly early in his career, he has represented numerous debtors in cases under Chapter 7, Chapter 13 and Chapter 11. His work as counsel for debtors and as a Chapter 12 and Chapter 13 Trustee gives Nelson a depth of experience that serves his clients well. He advocates for the best interests of his clients with knowledge and experience matched by few others.
Nelson comes from a Central California family. With his background as the son of a plasterer and the grandson of a rancher and farmer, he knows this area of California from the bottom up. A family man, Nelson is the proud father of seven children and grandfather of seventeen. The love of family is shared by his second wife, Marjean, and is nearly matched by his love of football.
